This has been such an amazing year for you and I am SO, SO proud of you and your AMAZING courage and strength. Thank you for making me part of your life. 1:30 am	Halp! All yer fics, show me them! Umm...sorry for spammin' your FLists! But, this is IMPORTANT! New Friend: Need stories. Seriously. I mean it - if you have heavily angsty R/S that ends happily (obviously pre OotP fic or AU stuff), PLEASE copy and paste it into a word file and send it my way. NF: I have NO problem elevating them to an OTP status... I just don't have the fic access to back it up. Me: no problem! I'll ask my FList now. I KNOW y'all have excellent taste and most of you are R/S folk. So, I know y'all can help a girl out! Sadly, Surf Control refuses to allow access to the Awesomeness of R/S slash. I'm leaving in just a minute to go interview my favorite band EVER and I have NO IDEA what I'm going to ask them! *shakes* I wasn't nervous until I dropped by the venue to grab my ticket this morning. And then someone recognized me. *vibrates gently* Right, so. I guess I'm going to interview Hanson. I've triple checked the weather reports. No hurricanes in sight. 8:27 pm	Live from BN! Things I have.... + THREE possible plots for my 2007 Nano Novel. The last one came to me while I was driving home from trying to find decent shoes that were not $70 a pair. Dude, I may be a bit morbid, but in 2/3 of the story ideas, people whom I love are injured/killed off. + A hungry tummy and iced chai latte. Vacation is too much fun. pre_raphaelite1, redpiratemel, lordvandemort, and ladymerri have all shown me too good a time here in the lovely state of California. I shall not be returning to the mugginess of Florida. It rains there. And....uhh.....I have to work there. And...umm...bugger. 12:31 am	Vacation I leave for the airport in little more than 3.5 hours. My luggage is packed. Everything's ready. I can't sleeeeeeeeep! Am too excited! Is it can be fly time nao, yes?! I'll be in California until Tuesday, hanging out with pre_raphaelite1 to celebrate her birthday and RIDE MR. TOAD'S WILD RIDE!!!! enjoy some quiet time. ( Forget Scratch-n-Sniff! This is Click-n-Lick! ) Also, since I'm posting pictures, have a gander at what I made my friends eat on Wednesday night. Les Miserables pasta -- Red! The blood of angry men! Black the dark of ancient nights! -- seemed like a dorktastic good idea when KL and I were in Target. Neither of us anticipated the pasta looking like worms or a scary sea monster attempting tentacular rape escape from the murky waters of the lobster pot. 8:49 pm	There's fuzz in here! (Or, Insane Amounts of Navel Gazing) It's been a while, IJ....and that's kind of on purpose. Mostly, I've been avoiding everyone and everything, including IJ. *is such a bad mod and IJer* Mom's doing much better and I'll be driving up there next Sunday after church for a visit. When I come back to Orlando, I'll have my brother in tow. He'll be spending the week with me, looking for jobs and hanging out. It'll be nice to have someone else to cook for, I think. I think the theme for this year of my life is going to be Navel Gazing. I've been thinking about my past, present, and future self (selves?). Here's what I know. ( tl;dr about past, present, future of Jessica ) ( On Love and loving oneself ) So, yes. That's the State of my (non) Union. The writing group critiqued my story and generally liked it. They gave good advice and I've put most of them into use. Hopefully, I'll post the updated story here and y'all can give some feedback and opinions. So, ummmm, how are y'all?
